Posted: 03/17/2026

Fayetteville Technical Community College is recruiting for a new member to join our Arts and Humanities Team and now accepting applications for a full-time Psychology Instructor!

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Psychology Instructor. FTCC’s Psychology Department serves non-traditional, traditional, and dually-enrolled high school students in University Transfer and Career Technical majors, offering a large number of Psychology courses every semester. Because of the high demand for Psychology courses, classes are offered on main campus, online, in hybrid modalities, and off-site at local area high schools and the nearby military installation Fort Bragg. Qualified candidates will therefore possess a willingness and ability to travel to those satellite locations to deliver instruction as needed, including daytime, evening, and weekend sessions. Psychology faculty are actively involved in curriculum decisions and aim to stay at the forefront of an ever-changing technology landscape. The department and the College offer ample opportunities for collaboration and professional development.

Qualified candidates will have strong customer service skills coupled with a team-oriented mindset; possess solid computer skills, demonstrate evidence of flexible work experiences and a willingness to change; be open-minded, fair, and possess the ability to see multiple perspectives; and be willing to take and manage risks and accept responsibility for professional and personal growth.

NOTE: First round interviews will be conducted online and second round interviews will be scheduled on our main campus in Fayetteville.
