Coordinator of Community Enrichment

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this critical, full-time position within the Corporate and Continuing Education Division. The ability to successfully innovate, develop/update, and manage multiple programs is critical to experiencing success in this position. Expertise in project management and supervision are essential skill sets. Qualified candidates will possess the ability and experience to engage and collaborate with industry and community partners to create and continually improve programs for adults as well as K-12 youth.

The Coordinator of Community Enrichment will plan and organize class schedules and maintain accurate records; ability to make data-driven decisions based on current interests and needs of community stakeholders; and a creative and flexible mindset for ongoing development and marketing of course offerings and Summerscapes course offerings by assigning well-qualified faculty; managing supplies; possessing strong communication skills and providing additional academic and administrative support to the Dean of Career and Community Enrichment.

The qualified candidate for this position will possess an understanding of academic and labor market data and demonstrate the ability to make data-driven decisions to continuously improve upon student success measures used to assess the College’s performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Three years of responsible program administration experience is required.
