Logistics Instructor

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Minimum Qualifications:

• An Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent.
• Five years of prior experience in an industry related to Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Distribution, Warehousing, and/or Manufacturing environment.
• Must have extensive experience in the required field of expertise.
• Must be able to teach required field in a classroom or work shop environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) and Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) Certification.
• Five years of prior experience in an industry related to Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Distribution, Warehousing, and/or Manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent.
• Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) CLT Instructor Authorization Training.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) Certified.
• OSHA Forklift Trained/Certified.
• A Project/Program Management Certificate.
• NCCER Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP) – Certified Instructor.
• Ten years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility with excellent logistics, supply chain, project management and team leadership skills.
• Prior experience working with senior military leaders.
• Prior experience in workforce development activities.
