Railyard FVL Announces Project Location, Recruits Food Operators

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 22, 2024

Fayetteville, NC – Railyard FVL is pleased to announce 415 West Russell Street as the location for Fayetteville’s first and only food hall/food collective. The downtown location is sandwiched between two railroad tracks and has historically been used by railroad companies as a true railyard.

The food hall is actively seeking food partners to operate food stalls within the entertainment venue. The $6.8 million development aims to recruit 8-12 operators who will run their own small food and beverage business at Railyard.
Railyard FVL will be an open-air, al fresco food hall designed out of repurposed shipping containers. Food stall operators will serve a range of diverse, quality craft food and Railyard will include a beer garden, two craft cocktail bars, and a cigar and whiskey bar. Vendors will operate around a central courtyard with a stage for live performances and 12,000 square feet of common dining and lounging space. Railyard is happy to partner with local soccer coach Justin Terranova to bring the area’s first mini soccer pitch. Quality food with exceptional customer service and creating a family-friendly atmosphere inviting customers to stay are central to Railyard’s core mission of: Food. Family. Friends. Fun.

For potential food operators, Railyard’s entry point costs 61% of the cost of starting a food truck business and 8% of the cost to open a brick-and-mortar establishment. Amenities included in the operator package include: marketing, entertainment programming, common area seating, utilities, a standard commercial kitchen equipment package with maintenance included, point-of-sale system, event planning, security, trash disposal services, venue cleaning services, and business development and mentorship.

Railyard will operate on the traditional food hall licensing model, providing short terms and flexibility to operators. Letters of Intent are non-binding in nature.

Railyard FVL is owned and operated by Fayetteville native and active duty Army soldier, John F. Kistler, III.
