Solid Waste to Host E-Waste Drive, Shredding Event March 28 at Ann Street Landfill
Cumberland County Solid Waste and Sustainable Sandhills will partner to hold an Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Drive and Paper Shredding event on Saturday, March 28, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Ann Street Landfill, located at 698 Ann St., Fayetteville. E-Waste disposal will be provided free of charge. On-site paper shredding will be available at a cost of 35 cents per pound. Public Library to Host 17th Annual Storytelling Festival March 1 - 31, 2026
Cumberland County Public Library (CCPL) will host its 17th annual Storytelling Festival from March 1 –- 31. The Storytelling Festival promotes literacy, encourages inclusion and sparks creativity for all community members. This free, month-long festival features stories and activities at multiple CCPL locations for children from birth to age 12, along with programs open to all ages. The Storytelling Festival is made possible by a $12,000 grant from the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County,
