Military Appreciation Day set for Saturday, April 12, at FTCC’s J.P. Riddle Stadium
The public is invited to attend Military Appreciation Day and a baseball double-header at Fayetteville Technical Community College’s J.P. Riddle Stadium on Saturday, April 12.
FTCC plays Bryant & Stratton College in a double-header starting at 1 p.m.
Military appreciation events will be held before and during the game, including delivery of the game ball shortly before the opening pitch by the All-Veterans Parachute Team who will be landing on the field.
The National Anthem will be performed by the 82nd Airborne Chorus and the colors posted by a color guard from Fayetteville State University Air Force ROTC unit. Military members and veterans in attendance will be recognized before the game’s start. Other activities and displays will be on hand on the property.
Entry is free. The stadium is at 2823 Legion Road in Fayetteville.
