IMPORTANT CHAMBER UPDATE

IMPORTANT CHAMBER UPDATE
 November 26, 2024

First, Happy Thanksgiving!  I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for each of you. Your contributions, dedication, and support are the heart of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber, and together, we make our business community stronger every day. The entire staff at the Chamber hope that your holiday is filled with joy, connection, and the blessings of family and friends. Thank you for being an integral part of our Chamber family.

Now, down to business… The Greater Fayetteville Chamber Board of Directors met this morning and elected the following members to the Board as recommended by the Nominating Committee.  Each of these individuals will serve a three-year term beginning in January of 2025.  For future reference, the web page will be updated before the end of the year.  Join me in congratulating the following new and returning Board members.

  • Todd Kenthack – Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union – returning for a second term
  • Wesley Fountain – Fayetteville State University - returning for a second term
  • Eva Houston-Henderson – Houston-Henderson Real Estate – elected for her first term
  • Greg Dudak – Mercedes Benz of Fayetteville – elected for his first term
Your Board of Directors also elected the Officers for 2025 who will make up the Executive Committee.  Serving a one-year term beginning in January are:

  • Chair :          Todd Kenthack – Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union
  • Vice-Chair:   Samantha Inczauskis – Methodist University
  • Secretary:    Timothy Bryant – Public Works Commission
  • Treasurer:    William Hedgepeth – Coldwell Banker Advantage
I would be negligent if I didn’t thank all our 2024 Board members including our Chair, Brian Pearce – Cape Fear Valley Health Systems. Brian’s administration did a great job for our members and the record growth of the Chamber this year.

2025 promises to be a great year!  We have plans to expand our local government advocacy programs, develop a training partnership with the Center for Economic Empowerment & Development, and continue to develop programs and events that are informative and advantageous to businesses of all sizes.  If you know of a business that not part of the Chamber, please talk to them about joining, then send me an email and we will go visit them, tell them more about how awesome the programs and events are, and get them signed up as members.

Thank you again for your continued support!  I would like to encourage you to attend at least one networking event every month to get a better idea of what is going on around Cumberland County’s business community. With over 120 events a year, we are a benefit that you need to continue to grow and promote your business.  Find out more at
