Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Announces New Director of Events FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Greater Fayetteville Chamber is thrilled to announce the arrival of our new Director of Events, Jami McLaughlin. Along with all Chamber events, she will also oversee affiliated groups: Military Affairs Council, Government Relations Committee, and the Chamber Ambassador Program. With experience in event coordination and community engagements, McLaughlin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Jami has deep roots in this community, and she’s also a local government reporter and feature writer for CityView.

Her love for Chamber work and events is evident from her former positions as executive director of the Greater Spring Lake Chamber of Commerce, downtown development manager for the City of Fayetteville and as a former elected official in Cumberland County. Granddaughter of Spring Lake's first mayor, she is the Spring Lake town historian and previously wrote Images of America: Spring Lake, NC.

Jami states, “I’m excited to be joining such a strong team at the Greater Fayetteville Chamber. I believe in the work the Chamber does and look forward to helping our business community connect and grow through the Chamber’s active schedule of events. This is going to be fun!”
