About Us

Hinkamp Jewelers was founded August 1st, 1955 by Walter Hinkamp and Robert Tyndall, and has been serving the Fayetteville area and beyond ever since.

Today, we are still a family-owned and operated store now into our second generation.

The tradition was kept intact with Wally Hinkamp Jr., a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America, the late David Hinkamp, and Donna Hinkamp Warren.

Wally Hinkamp, Owner
Wally took over ownership in 2000 and has over 40 years of experience in the family business. He invites you to come be a part of the Hinkamp Family.

Wally’s wife Susan is a self-employed registered pharmacist with a degree from UNC Chapel Hill. Wally is an alumnus of UNC Wilmington and a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America. Their son Dawson is a student at Campbell University.
