Music Director: First Baptist Church (part-time)

First Baptist Church in downtown Fayetteville NC is seeking a part time Music Director. The Music Director’s primary focus is to lead and oversee the FBC Choirs.

Specific responsibilities will include planning, rehearsing, preparing music and the Sanctuary Choir for the Sunday services, and providing opportunities for other choirs to participate in various worship services. 

FBC desires a Music Director with a Spiritual focus, who seeks to foster our choir members’ faith and fellowship. We desire a Music Director that understands the FBC music ministry is about relationships and enhancing worship, not a competitive choir.

The Music Director should be collaborative, flexible, open-minded, and accepting. FBC is seeking someone who fosters a culture of celebration and praise of God through music.
