FirstHealth On the Go Moves to MyChart for Enhanced Virtual Care Access

PINEHURST—FirstHealth On the Go is moving to MyChart, effective Oct. 1, 2024. This integration with MyChart will offer patients an improved, all-in-one experience for accessing virtual care, appointment requests, test results, prescription refills, bill payment and more—all from the convenience of the FirstHealth MyChart app.

Beginning October 1, the previous FirstHealth On the Go app will no longer be responsive. To continue enjoying on-demand virtual care services through FirstHealth On the Go, patients who already have the FirstHealth MyChart app can simply open it, click on the menu and select “FirstHealth On the Go” to start a visit. Those who do not have a FirstHealth MyChart account can visit FirstHealthOntheGo.org to get started.

FirstHealth On the Go is available to anyone in North Carolina and provides on-demand access to virtual visits with providers for conditions that do not require a visit to the emergency room or urgent care such as cold, flu, allergies, rash, pinkeye and more.  FirstHealth On the Go is available from 6 a.m. to midnight seven days a week.  Depending on your health plan, the cost ranges from $0 to $45.

“Virtual care is an excellent option for non-emergency medical concerns, providing a convenient and efficient way to receive care without the need for an in-person visit,” said Dan Barnes, D.O., president of FirstHealth Physician Group. “This move is part of our ongoing effort to streamline access to care, making it easier for patients to manage their health all from one location.”
