Events Coordinator
- Responsible for the development and coordination of all Chamber and Military Affairs Council major events as determined by the President/CEO.
- Works closely with the Marketing & Communications Coordinator in event promotions and collateral material to include but not limited to:
- Signage
- Programs
- Scripts
- Sponsorship recognition
- Works closely with other departments as needed.
- Assists Marketing Department in managing content on website and internal member-to-member site in ChamberMaster.
- Recruits and coordinates volunteer committees to assist with the implementation of events
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- An undergraduate degree or higher. Experience with a similar membership-based organization helpful.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to details.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision.
- Experience in meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and to work with people in a variety of circumstances.
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, motivated and willingness to take initiative.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with thorough knowledge of and experience in using all Microsoft Office products.
- A willingness to learn ChamberMaster database.
