Sip & Paint Pottery at Paddy's "Light Up Tree: on Wednesday, October 16th!

Join us for Sip & Paint Pottery with Kelly Hathaway from Greg’s Pottery on Wednesday, October 16th! This ceramic tree measures 9”x 6” and includes a light cord with on/off switch along with multi-colored plastic bulbs for predrilled holes in the tree. Paint one to match your decor, your favorite sports team colors, or any holiday. For example: a pink tree could be used for Valentine’s Day and Easter. The price includes one small 9” tree, all glazes you choose, kiln firing, light cord, and lights for holes. We will provide an array of glaze colors and decorating tools for you to use. Enjoy a beverage (Paddy's has a lovely coffee bar, as well as a mocktail menu) on the patio while you get creative and we will be there to offer helpful tips and pointers. At the end of the event, we (Greg's Pottery) will take your pottery back to our shop Downtown to dip it in a clear coat and kiln-fire your masterpiece. We will call you in about a week once your pottery is ready for pick-up. Bring your friends, coworkers, and significant other, and do something different by painting your own pottery.

About your host: Kelly Hathaway was born in Fayetteville, grew up in Raeford, and moved to the West Coast for a few years as an adult before moving back home and opening Greg’s Pottery in 2005. What started as a gallery for her Dad’s paintings and pottery evolved into a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio and that is the focus of the shop now. There are hundreds of items you can choose to paint, from mugs to pet dishes to mermaids. Painting pottery is fun for kids and adults and the best part of the job is seeing customers reactions to their masterpieces once they are kiln-fired. Kelly likes to hang out with her son, read celebrity memoirs, and of course, paint pottery!
