Joyner, Young, and Marie LIVE!

Joyner, Young, and Marie LIVE at Paddy's Irish Pub on Friday, December 9th! Dan Young and Bill Joyner have been working together since the eighties in bands and duos and in local theater productions. Later, they added sensational vocalist Marie Grimsley. They recorded the album “Full Circle”, which received a lot of local airplay and had a cut that was number 1 on beach music stations for 4 weeks. The latest configuration of Joyner Young & Marie includes Allen Diffee on drums and vocals, Gil Howell on the five-string bass, Dan on guitar and vocals, Bill on keys, guitar, and vocals, and “Sweet” Marie on percussion and vocals. They do a wide variety of covers, always oriented toward rhythm and blues and harmony vocals. From Clapton to Bonnie Raitt, Talking Heads to Jackson Browne, Pink Martini to Joe Cocker, and Tears for Fears to Melissa Etheridge. They are working on a new album tentatively titled “Onward and Up”.
