Headliner: Doug Canney - Doug is a nationally touring headliner, former 80's shred guitar player, Voice-over artist, and Actor. He's from a small town in North Carolina and now resides in Palm Coast Florida. After twelve years as a full-time touring comic, he's performed over 330 nights a year and traveled over 9600 miles in just over a week, his personal best to date. He's been called the "Human Energy Drink" because of his fast pace and spastic persona. Being a Southerner, Doug doesn't do any political or overly vulgar material, he's pretty much just a country boy, stuck in a Rocker's package. He's performed on HBO, NBC, and The WB Channel, for the troops and in over 40 states! When not doing standup, Doug is an actor and current cast member Wendall Garvey on the Blindogg Production TV series 'Backseat to Justice'. His character is a murderer and psychopath and a fun outlet for his improv. But mostly, Doug is a humble guy that's always saying "I'm still learning!" Being that guy, he still performs with his tribute band and on boats, buses, comedy clubs, and living rooms, around the country. He's hoping the International Space Station is next....or just Late night TV!
